JASS 2011-2012
NOTICE OF CHANGE: WE PLAY JASS ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON The Jass Section of the Swiss Club Toronto had their first event on Sunday, October 16, 2011. We played in the “Agincourt Room” of the Condo Building located at 3131 Bridletowne Circle in Toronto (was Scarborough). The nearest intersection is Warden Ave. and Finch Ave. Parking is available on the west side of the building or in the parking lot of the plaza on the east side of the building.
The starting time is now at 1:00 PM, Sunday afternoon. Refreshments will be available if there is sufficient demand. After the games on Oct. 16, 2011 we tried out the Restaurant “REMEZZO” just a short distance away for people who want to chat with friends after the games.We may make this part of our Jass afternoon, socializing after the games.
At this time we still have space available and encourage anyone who would like to come out for a few games of Jass to contact me. Even if you missed the first evening you can still participate and get your missed score at the Make-Up game listed below (January 29, 2012).
The next dates are November 13, 2011, January 15, 2012, February 12, 2012 and March 11, 2012. The Make-Up games will be on Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2012 and the Championship
evening is scheduled for February 25, 2012 at a private residence (only if your scores from the first 3 evenings qualify). The Awards Dinner will be on Saturday, April 14, 2012.
